Often referred to as the “language of business,” accounting allows businesses to communicate with stakeholders about how the business is peforming, so that they can then make data-informed and educated decisions. Not only does accounting provide information about the past performance of the company, but allows stakeholders to envision the future and move an organization forward responsibly.
The accounting program at Regis is designed to provide the foundation for those students who are interested in sitting for the CPA examination. For those students who may not be interested in pursuing the CPA license, the accounting program is designed to allow graduates to pursue other designations or to seek accounting positions within business organizations. Students gain knowledge in various accounting areas, as well as in the other areas of business to complement their well-rounded education.
